  1. Scholarship is only valued at 25 % to all new international students, commencing their first time studying at CQUniversity.
  2. The Scholarship will NOT be AVAILABLE for current students.

CQ UNI RESEARCH & TRAINING PROGRAM STIPEND AUSTRALIAN SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS 2022:

The Australian Government is funding the RTP stipend scholarship program. Subsequently, it allocates funding to selected students to assist with living costs while undertaking a research program for a higher degree.

Value of Scholarship:  $28,854  / annum

Length of Scholarship: 3 Years.

Deadline: 30 September 30, 2022

SELECTION MODE: 

The Scholarship assessment is purely merit-based and has three categories of performance that will inform about the allocation of scholarships to eligible candidates.

  1. 0 to 20 Points for academic achievement and writing skills.
  2. 0 to 15 Points for the research project and alignment with the CQUni environment.
  3. 0 to 15 Points for research experience and evidence of motivation.

Indeed, This scholarship is in fact merit-based. The distribution of scholarships to qualified candidates shall be determined by the following Scholarship Assessment Scale, which uses three performance-based categories:

  • Academic achievement and writing skills (0–20 points)
  • Quality of research project and alignment with CQUniversity research priority areas (0–15 points)
  • Evidence of motivation, research experience, and research environment (0–15 points)

ADVANTAGES: 

The RTP Stipend scholarship program allows you to LIVING ALLOWANCE STIPEND paid fortnightly to the recipient via the university payroll system.

The RTP Fees Offset scholarship, on the other hand, totally removes the student’s tuition-bearing charge for the period of the Offset scholarship. This award is only available to Australian National / Domestic Students who get an RTP Stipend scholarship.

For RTP fees offset Scholarship, no separate application is required.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Students are recommended to include copies of all supporting documentation with their application; otherwise, it will be denied. However, a written submission is required to forward the application.

Furthermore, RTP scholarships cannot be applied for directly or through a site.

In order for your application to be processed through the School of Graduate Research with a recommendation from the supervisory teams at your present school, please let the supervisory team at your current institution know that you are interested in an RHD Scholarship.

However, all applicants will receive an email alert; only selected candidates will receive the email from the university administration.
