Eligibility:

The required level is B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). However, if you are already enrolled in an Italian language course at the university, you can submit your language certification provided by a professor in that department. Ph.D. programs and research projects under academic supervision do not require proof of language proficiency.

Age restrictions vary based on the type of program:
- Applicants for Master’s Degree, Higher Education in Arts, Music, and Dance, and Italian Language and Culture Courses should be under 28 years old and 364 days before the deadline.
- Those applying for Ph.D. Programs should not exceed the age of 30 years and 364 days by the deadline.
- Candidates interested in Research Projects under Academic Supervision should be under 40 years old and 364 days by the deadline.
Advantages to Grantees:
The benefits of these scholarships are substantial. Depending on the specific university’s policies, grantees may be exempt from tuition or enrollment fees, except for programs like Italian Language and Culture. Grantees will also receive medical/accidental coverage or insurance for the duration of the session, subject to terms and conditions.
